Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Console Refurb ("we", "us" or "our") handles information when you use our applications, including Invoice Maker, and related services.

We aim to keep our applications simple and privacy-conscious. Invoice Maker is designed primarily as a local-first application, meaning invoice and business information is stored on your device rather than in a cloud database operated by us.

2. Information Stored in the App

Invoice Maker may allow you to enter and store information such as:

  • Your business name and contact details.
  • Business address and VAT information.
  • Customer names and contact details.
  • Customer addresses and email addresses.
  • Invoice numbers, dates and payment status.
  • Descriptions, quantities and prices for invoice items.
  • Notes that you choose to add to invoices.

This information is stored locally on your device as part of the application's normal operation. We do not operate a cloud database that routinely receives or stores the contents of your invoices.

3. PDF Invoices and Sharing

Invoice Maker can generate PDF invoices on your device. If you choose to print or share an invoice, the PDF is passed to the operating system and the service you select, such as email, messaging or another sharing application.

Once you choose to share a document with another service, that service's own privacy policy and terms apply.

4. Pro Purchases

Invoice Maker Pro is offered as a one-time purchase. Purchases and entitlement information are processed using RevenueCat and the relevant app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.

RevenueCat may process information necessary to manage purchases, subscriptions or entitlements, including an anonymous App User ID and purchase-related information. We do not receive or store your payment card number through Invoice Maker.

Payment processing is handled by the relevant app store and its payment systems.

5. How We Use Information

Information may be used to:

  • Provide the features of Invoice Maker.
  • Generate invoices and PDF documents.
  • Maintain your locally stored invoice history.
  • Process and restore Pro purchases.
  • Provide customer support when you contact us.
  • Maintain and improve our applications and services.

6. Customer Information You Enter

Invoice Maker may allow you to store information relating to your customers. You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate lawful basis and any required permissions for collecting, storing and using that information.

You should only enter information that you are entitled to process and should take reasonable steps to protect your device and the information stored on it.

7. Third-Party Services

Invoice Maker may interact with third-party services required to provide particular functionality. These may include:

  • Google Play for Android app distribution and purchases.
  • Apple services for iOS app distribution and purchases.
  • RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management.
  • Services you select when sharing or sending PDF invoices.

These third parties process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Email and Support

If you contact us by email, we will receive the information contained in your message, including your email address and any information you choose to provide.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide support and deal with matters relating to our applications and services.

9. Data Retention

Information stored locally by Invoice Maker generally remains on your device until you delete it, remove the application, or otherwise modify or clear the application's stored data.

Information provided to us through support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the enquiry, provide support, maintain appropriate records and meet applicable legal obligations.

10. International Processing

Some third-party service providers used by the application may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where applicable, those providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards to such processing.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your circumstances and applicable data protection law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing.

Where information is stored locally on your own device, you can normally manage or delete that information directly through the application or your device.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information under our control. However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device, including using device security features and keeping your device software up to date.

13. Children's Privacy

Our applications are not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through our services.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our applications, services or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

15. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue.

You also have the right to make a complaint to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
